Ryan is finished as a national candidate. He had better learn to
enjoy the perks of just being a Chairman and congressman.
That is all the future holds for him.

There are a few facts to consider:

The “Bush Tax Cuts” are now PERMENENT, for couples making less than $450K

The low Dividend Tax rate is also now PERMENENT.

We still have the opportunity to fight other spending elements as we move to the battle on the debt ceiling.

So, if we move from the headlines to the details, this may have been the best possible outcome.

It does fall short in that there are about 200 politicians I’d like to see behind bars, but, that’s just me.

We now have a vote to seperate the RINOS from the Conservatives...or those who just think that changing your principles may be expedient, you have sold your soul for your political aspirations...and I for one wont vote for someone like that.

Ryan showed his true colors when he endorsed Romney in order to get the VP slot. If it’s a choice between his personal ambitions and the needs of his constituents, he will choose what’s good for him. As will all the rest.

If Ryan runs for President sometime down the road, I hope voters will remember. Or if they don’t, someone should remind them as often as possible.

I will await Paul’s explanation before passing judgement. I respect him enough to do that....he has sound reasoning.

Probably what they’ll remember is the MSM pretending he’s a far-right nutjob, akin to Democrats having nominated VI Lenin for VP.

Republicans shouldn’t beat themselves up over this. Some taxes were kept from increase. Ryan can redeem himself by resuming the fight with vigor in 2014.

Republicans can act like that old commie Lennin, who, when asked whether he wanted to read the unfavorable peace treaty that was negotiated with Germany during WWI, stated something like: “Why should I read it — I have no intention of keeping it.”

The Senate was given a 150+ page bill THREE MINUTES before they signed it. They didn't even read it. They had their orders.
Did the Republicans ever read it, or were they given their orders by TPTB as well?

Either they're playing Good Cop/Bad Cop, or someone else is pulling the puppet strings, because both parties are going in the same direction. The Repubs are just hiding it better.
