“Wasn’t the first 45 cal ACP pistol minted in 1909?”.....I do not know if it was the first but the Colt 1911 was patented 4/20/1897-9/9/1902-12/19/1905-2/14/1911 and 8/19/1914. At least that is what is stamped on the one that I am looking at.
