What changed you? A great package of Federal handouts? Spending too much time on MSNBC? Correcting too many High School book reviews of Marx's Das Kapital? A loss of God in your life? Brain lesions?
What do you hope to accomplish here on Free Republic?Still love my country though and am even sending one boy to the navy this year and one to the air force next year.
Families in the USSR had similar motivations and made similar sacrifices. Didn't excuse their objectionable ideology.

If you really want to know it was just exposing myself to more that just the conservative echo chamber. And if we talked and kept the knee-jerking to a minimum we'd probably find out we agree on quite a few things.
