Pelosi: ‘Many Members of the Republican Caucus Don’t Believe in Government’ By Penny Starr January 3, 2013

(CNSNews.com) – In an interview on Thursday with National Public Radio, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said that many Republicans do not “believe in government.”

"There are many members in the Republican caucus who do not believe in government,” Pelosi said in an interview with NPR’s Morning Edition host Steve Inskeep. “And bless their hearts, they act upon their beliefs.

“So day to day, we vote here on issues that eliminate government initiatives for clean air, clean water, food safety, public safety, public education, public transportation, public housing, public health, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security.

"They don't believe in a public role,” Pelosi said. “And if you don't believe in a public role, then why do you even have to have taxes to pay for it? ... They're anti-government ideologues, and that's what the speaker has to deal with."

Pelosi also had praise for the “Grand Old Party,” which she said has made “enormous contributions to the success of our country,” but that the party has changed to be one that wants to destroy government.

“While we may argue about the size of government, the Republican Party has not been a party that says, 'I want to destroy government,” Pelosi said.

She said Republicans should “take back your party.”

Sadly, only a small handful even believe in Constitutional government.

I have no objection to a single word Pelosi has said. The government, as currently constituted, with it’s overreaching regulations, incredible limits on natural freedoms, socialist underpinnings, incredible giveaways to the unproductive, and ubiquitous surveillance on citizens... yes, I DO want to destroy that.

Unfortunately, Pelosi is not insane. She’s evil.
She blathers lies like this not because she believes them, but because they work.

Good thing Pelosi said nothing about putting faith in government.

Believing in LESS government doesn’t mean NOT believing in government.

We could say given Pelosi’s views, the ONLY thing she believes in is government, and ever-expanding government, until government is the only thing left.

Let’s have that as a topic for conversation on our unbiased, objective libtard media some night.

To copy a business phrase, Government should be ‘right sized’. During war, recession or disasters, the size of government grows. So the way to curtail government growth is to skip elective wars, stop exporting jobs and preventing disasters. Put a expiration date into expansions and when the need ends, government should be reduced. Bring on the good times if a smaller government is desired. But we would have to give up some wars and hire Americans but that is too much to ask, isn’t it.

So does the half wit even realize that a good percentage of the Occupiers she championed were actually hard core anarchists ? Can she actually be so daft ?

Dear Pelosi,

There is a difference between wanting no government and wanting a government that is limited in scope. The more power government has, the less power the people have. The key is finding the balance where a government does not infringe on the peoples pursuit of happiness and where the anarchists do not destroy the peoples pursuit of happiness.

The absolute worse situation a country could have is when covert anarchists run the government. That is you Pelosi. Destruction of the peoples pursuit of happiness, coded into law.

Beliefs belong in church.

Depends on who you worship. As G K Chesterton once said,"Once abolish the God, and the Government becomes the God".

Pelosi: ‘Many Members of the Republican Caucus Don’t Believe in Government’

Pelsoi is completely wrong. I believe in evil. I believe in danger. I believe in thugs who want power over others. For those three reasons, I believe in government, and I am concerned by any government under the control of those who think like Pelosi, Reid, and Obama. That is why the founders gave our God-given right to keep and bear arms the absolute legal protection of the Second Amendment.

Wow... that did read like a religious zealot.

These people do indeed treat “government” as their god.

Idolatry. Probably the biggest sin that angers the one true God.
