A revered Chicago muffler shop owner became the city’s fifth homicide of 2013, but not before calling his son to let him know he was shot, MyFoxChicago.com reported.
"They shot me in the back," Michael Kozel, 57, the owner Independent Muffler Shop in the city's Southwest Side, told his adult son. Those were his last words he said.

This scene will become very common all over the US if they ever banned law-abiding citizens from owning firearms.
The criminal who shot the store owner in the back would NOT have turned his gun in if ordered to do so but would have expected and hoped that everyone else would obey the law.
Can we ask if this was black on black hostility, or some kind of hate crime, or drug deal gone wrong. Obviously the gun laws in this city aren’t working out very well for the innocent people.
The victim appears to be white, and the article says he was shot in the course of a robbery. The perps were “two men.”

A tv station in Chicago identified the perps as minorities, but they did not describe which minority.

Bob Beckel has the perfect explanation for all the murders in Chicago in spite of their gun laws.
According to Beckel:
(1) The guns are brought in from out of state the same as they are in DC so somehow THIS explains the dreadful murder rate in Chicago..
(2) There’s a lot of drugs and gangs in Chicago and all the killings are tied into gangs and drugs. That apparently explains the high murder rate! I really don’t know what we’re supposed to do with a rationalization like that.
So laws against guns and against drugs hasn’t stopped the killings but to a warped liberal mind, there is nothing odd about the out of control murders in that state. If I haven’t stated this so it makes sense to the reader, you should have listened to him making the argument. It was pitiful and painful!
He believes Emanuel is going to get the problem under control. What else would you expect a good liberal (loon) to say?
AND YES - there should be stricter gun laws - especially on handguns!! THOSE wouldn’t be brought into Chicago from out of state and there wouldn’t be any more drugs or any more gangs! Got it, Bob!
