We have some Noble men and women in the Legislature, just not enough! Look, we the people have been pushing back for years now. Nothing is changing. We get further and further away from fixing this mess. I’m not a defeatist, just a realist. This DC machine is so corrupt, eventually good men like Scott get swallowed up. Can anyone say “Allen West”?

Uh, no they haven’t. The conservative movement has been AWOL for 40 years, busy remodeling kitchens, going fishing and barbecuing burgers.
I was active in local government for nearly 20 years. Trying to get a conservative to show up at local village council meeting was like asking a vampire to attend a sunrise worship service.
Why do you think the public schools are filled with leftists? Conservative don’t attend schoolboard meetings.
Why are local property taxes sky-high? Conservative don’t show up at county board meetings.
I could go on but I’m tired of wasting my breath talking about how conservatives need to organize locally to gain political power. Conservatives will need to get their faces stomped by jackboots before they wake up.
