Kaslin, I respect you. But you’re missing my very simple point.

The author of the article got the man’s name wrong. Badly wrong.

Yes, his first name is “Victor”. That’s all she got right.
His middle name is not Hansen. And no, his middle name is not Hanson either. His middle name is Davis. Check your links — you will see that your links are correct. Then perhaps you will see that the posted article is wrong in the citation of this historian’s name.
His last name is not Davis. His last name is not Hansen. His last name is Hanson. Again, your links are perfectly correct. Suzanne Fields, on the other hand, got it wrong.

I say again: are there no editors? What would VDH say?
