Dear Mr McConnell,

You may think you have the upper hand but you are dealing with Democrats. The only issue is choosing whether they will bend the rules, ignore the rules, or outright break the rules. Be prepared to have the fight over the issue, and then a second fight to prove you won, and a third to prove that the rules still apply, and a fourth to prove .. .. .. etc.
