I certainly would like for Norm to be right, but I would point out to him that man’s nature doesn’t change. While we’re of a different culture, our nature is no different than that of the 1930s Germans or 1920s Russians.
It is in fact no different than that of the Jews who lived under Roman occupation.

And every one of those opressive empires fell. And they will again. Easy? No. Long slog? Absolutely. But we sis not end up here in a day nor will we win in a day. But we will win. We always do.
People have to accept that they will lose everything they have because of who and what they are. That’s simply reality. So they can give in now, or fight it and perhaps die by some lib bullet or whatever. Or perhaps move the ball a yard in our direction. And they will not be alone.
But they WILL feel the pain and their yacht and business will go away.
It comes down to what is more important to them.
