There is no such thing as a corporate tax. So called corporate taxes are passed on to the consumer as part of operating cost, otherwise known as the cost of doing business. Also, these taxes are very regressive meaning everyone pays. An example, a simple loaf of bread; any corporate taxes rolled into the cost of a loaf of bread must be paid by the purchaser whether that purchaser makes $10,000 per year or $1,000,000 per year. It’s a dirty little secret that liberals use on those low information folks we’ve been talking about lately. But, so it goes.....

YES! YES! YES! I rarely hear this pointed out by the GOP or “economists”. How hard is that to get - even for the low informational voters. . . wait, Oh yeah, they would have to know what “cost” means, what “cost of doing business means” - forget it.

The same applies when the cost of doing business goes up with new regulations. That cost is passed on to the consumer with a higher price for goods and services.

It also applies when when the minimum wage is raised, where the shop owner will have to raise the prices of donuts and coffee, or whatever else a business produces.

The reasons for the economy being in the dumps, is because there are far too many people who don't understand economics, or don't care to understand, or believe that it's always the next guy who is affected, and not him/herself.
