If I remember correctly, weren’t the Brits outraged about American riflemen, and their penchant for picking off officers at 300 yards? They were pretty harsh with captured riflemen. The Pennsylvania rifle was the ‘Assault Weapon’ of the 18th century, but I don’t see them on the Ban List.
