The EBR wall at my shop was empty the week before Christmas.
They took to putting old mosin nagant’s and enfields up there just so the shelve would not be bare.

But the shelves were still bare.

I should have pinged you to this.

BTW
I sent a CETME pistol grip to a FReeper congressman.

He “menaced” the house with it to ridicule hoplophobes. LOL!!

Around here too. Not much on the shelves, even at GT Distributors.

I did get the Savage Hog Hunter to the range. Zero’d the irons and the scope. Have some 308 coming in soon. And that Savage Accu Trigger is Sweet. You cannot feel it break. You just start pressing it back and Bang. It’s set at about 2.5 lbs.

Last I saw, a can of 5.45x39 was $300

Holy Cow!

My old eyes too.

I started wearing bifocal contacts and it’s improved shooting so much it’s a
miracle...at least to me.

I can actually see the iron sights AND the target at the same time. Same with
driving, I can see the road and read the speedometer too.

Sounds good.
Was that Fiocchi .308 that you found?

I saw 1947 turkish 8mm ammo going for $1 a round 3 weeks ago.
Holy Cow!

Sounds sweet.

That is definitely one thing I need to round out my collection. I still don’t have a bolt gun in .308.

Yet. :)

I hear .75 readers will help acquire the iron sights without mucking things up down range, but I can’t find them.

Yeah, that was kinda what I was looking at.
Truglo had a discontinued one too.
No one uses a 1” tube.

Very nice.

So are you using high see-thru scope bases?

You can find .75 readers on the Google pretty quick. But wouldn’t recommend it. My readers were/are 2.25 plus a 4.0 contact.

Pure Vision Multi-Focal contacts literally changed my life. I can wear sunglasses now, I can read without glasses now, and I can shoot like was 16 years old again.

I think it is time for me to get to the optometrist.

I am sick of futzing around with ****

I tried to repair a radio yesterday and got so frustrated because I could not see.

You sound like me. Been putting it off for too long.

I’ve been runnin’ 2.0 readers and still find myself reaching for a magnifying glass for some stuff.
