One of my best friends is a consulant and just became the head of his local party. He said that the national consultants are a bunch of bumbling bleeping idiots.

and most of these consultants at the state and local level, like your friend, are also bumbling bleeping idiots.

They develop an incestuous relationship with the local leadership who in return hire them for their (usually losing) campaigns.

Next election, think before you send your money to a local campaign. Chances are it will end up in the pockets of these fools, who only care about the big checks they get from spending your money.
