Obama to Boehner: 'We Don't Have a Spending Problem'

In an interview with Stephen Moore of the Wall Street Journal, newly re-elected House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) opened up about President Obama’s utter unwillingness to cut a single dollar from federal spending. In a stunning admission, Obama reportedly told Boehner, “We don’t have a spending problem.”

Boehner added that President Obama continues to maintain that America’s federal deficit is caused not by governmental overspending but by “a health-care problem.” Said Boehner, “They blame all of the fiscal woes on our health-care system.” Boehner told Obama, “Clearly we have a health-care problem, which is about to get worse with Obamacare. But, Mr. President, we have a very serious spending problem.” Obama eventually replied, “I’m getting tired of hearing you say that.”

Obama may be tired of hearing Boehner talk about a spending problem, particularly when Obama has been re-elected on the basis of ignoring government spending. Nonetheless, America does have a spending problem, which Obama is steadfastly ignoring. “He’s so ideological himself,” Boehner explained, “and he’s unwilling to take on the left of his own party.” That’s why Obama refused to raise the retirement age for Medicare after agreeing to it. “He admitted in meetings that he couldn’t sell things to his own members,” said Boehner. “But he didn’t even want to try … We could never get him to step up.”

Boehner says that there will be no new tax increases over the debt ceiling. “The tax issue is resolved,” he said. And he said that more closed-door negotiations with Obama would be “futile.” It’s a bit too late to recognize that, but better late than never.

The Zer0 Syndicate will never cut spending. They want to tax the Middle Class. I have heard the Dems want to impose a Value Added Tax (VAT) on energy. So, if they drive up the cost of energy, a VAT will generate billions.

" if His Keynesian model turns out to be wrong we are screwed."

The Keynesian model has been proven to be another failed theory. Why the Zer0 Syndicate pursues it when they damned well know it is wrong, is a case for impeachment. These thugs have lied about the cause of the 2008 economic collapse, why should they tell the truth about what they are doing.

The truth is, the DemonRATs are killing off America economically. They are using Keynesian economic policy to do it because, by its very nature, it cons the public with its give-aways. While government pretends to be Santa Clause, it is destroying the vehicle of wealth of Capitalism. Why they are doing it when they know better is a matter that my good citizens of American had better get a handle on.

I have to give Boehner credit for something. If I was forced to talk with Obama, I probably would have decked him, or told him to go pound sand And walk away. It is clear Obama doesn’t give a rats behind about America.

You would think that the fact the US government is now annually spending more money then it ever has in its past, would at least give Obama a clue.

The idea that we do not have a spending problem is a common belief on the left. They don’t have a problem with trillion dollar deficits.

I was talking with an economist at the DOJ and he said the same thing. Then he started bleating about the deficit being more during Reagan years based on percent of GDP, blah, blah, blah. They genuinely believe this Keynesian claptrap.

We need about a Billion dollars to buy time and plead our case, the MSM is going to attempt to crucify the House for only doing what is right.

This President MUST be brought to heal.

Advertising in Red States that have Vulnerable senators will put the fear of God in Harry Reid as he is about to lose his job.

I think he was Affirmative Action but I think he knows exactly what he’s doing. His goal is to make the US no better than a third world country...IMO. And that makes him fundamentally stupid.
