Michael Savage: Time for a 'nationalist' party
WorldNetDaily ^ | Jan 6, 2013 | Drew Zahn

Michael Savage, one of the nation’s most prominent voices in talk radio, said today America is “absolutely” ripe for a third party, in part, because the two largest parties in the U.S. have pulled a “charade” on the American people.

“There is no Republican Party,” Savage told fellow talk show host Aaron Klein. “It’s an appendage of the Democrat machine, as we’ve all just seen. It’s two-card Monte, as we well know. It’s a game being played against the American people. You’ve got the drunk Boehner on the one side, and the quasi-pseudo-crypto Marxist on the other, who is really just enjoying the ride in Hawaii right now, representing his factions.”

Instead, “We need a nationalist party in the United States of America,” said Savage on WABC’s “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” suggesting a party focused on “borders, language and culture.”

He continued: “You have the rudiments of a new party in this country called a tea party. They need to restructure their party. They need a charismatic leader, which they don’t have. When you say, ‘Tea party,’ no one knows who the leader is, because there is no leader. No man has stepped forward who can lead that party – no one who is an articulate speaker, a charismatic mover of people.

“The tea party is the rudiment of the new nationalist .......

He’s right that there is no republican party.

And he’s right that conservatives have no leader.

I do not know how to address that though, because I do not want a leader. I’ll lead myself. I’m done with others representing me.

Borders language culture are all side issues. Nationalism is not admirable in and of itself.

We need to return to the ONLY thing that makes America unique and free: the CONSTITUTION.

THAT is what we need to return to, Mr. Savage, because history has taught us you can be nationalist and socialist at the same time.

NO THANKS.

I never understood why in Germany the Nazi’s and the Red’s hated each other so much. They are both socialist in nature, as well Hitler was on the right in that country politically.

A couple weeks ago I was reading about the issue and I finally had the issue explained. Hitler and his Nazi’s where Nationalist (only Germans and their culture), the Reds believed in world social/communism. Thus the hatred for each other. Back to this country, it seems he have similar party’s, both increasingly socialist. One is more nationalistic (republicans), the other more worldly socialist (democrats). Ultimately, they are both evil and have long ago stopped representing their constituents.

My 2 cents.

Had one Hike. The best. Real conservative with solid Tea Party values.

And you trashed her with zeal.

Kiss off.

I agree, the connotations of a “nationalist” party are nothing but trouble and it won’t matter one bit if they’re real or imagined.

I’d rather be known as a constitutionalist.

I think we should just go with something a bit more acceptable and heartwarming. Something to bring in the kids and moms.. Like Puppy Stomper Party. Nationalists? just a little ‘much’.

There have been worse ideas. I'm not exactly sure when, or where, but it's gotta rate in the top 10.

“They are both socialist in nature, as well Hitler was on the right in that country politically.”

They had major differences in terms of freedom of worship and private property rights as well; while the Bolsheviks rose with the help of the poorest people, the Nazis were supported by the middle and upper classes (ruthlessly suppressing communists who would deny the right to private property and religious worship).

The US does need a party that puts the interests of American citizens first (as currently neither party does); I include with those American citizens the most recent legalized immigrants as well. Mexicans who properly filed their paperwork and came here legitimately are among those that lose the most to illegal immigration (along with AMerican blacks).

Nationalist Party

Does it come with snappy uniforms and a sharp, stiff arm salute?

The GOP is frantic, because they know the internal numbers. There's gonna be some flailing.

Thanks for the info.

“They had major differences in terms of freedom of worship and private property rights as well; while the Bolsheviks rose with the help of the poorest people, the Nazis were supported by the middle and upper classes (ruthlessly suppressing communists who would deny the right to private property and religious worship).”

Didn’t Hitler violate property rights and religious freedom as the war went on?
