I-44, yes it was pretty decent except for that small zone. I lived at 61’st and Troost for a while 25+ years ago. Maybe some of the folks wanted to get away from the north side, who knows. Well, the north side followed them over, and it’s pretty bad. They even have a TPD sub station a few blocks away on Riverside.
Woops! I meant I-44 or as it was known back then Skelly Bypass.
I used to live on W18th st between S Boulder ave and S main just north of the park.
The apartment is gone now.
