You’d think that by now the journalism “schools” would offer Gun Terminology 101 as a freshman core class these days. Drives me crazy too.
Every time I start to read an article and the author refers to handgun mags as "clips," I stop reading.
It's the same stupid mentality as those saying you can't miss with a shotgun, and being shot in the hand by a .45 ACP round will spin you around like a top; and the expression, "a clip hold bullets" drives me nuts.
