The bad news is that no member of Congress will take the time to read the letter. If they do anything with it they might pass it off to an aide and ask for a summery. Most will just toss it away. That's just the way things are.

How about gaining the offensive in this manner. Include in the letter this ultimatum. You are hereby advised that all law abiding gun owners will refuse to pay any federal income tax to a government that acts unconstitutionally. The problem is that our income-tax system has made this essentially impossible; this is the true insidiousness of 'withholdings', which really are nothing more than theft, as they take it from your employer before he gives it to you.
