That’s the whole point - they want to force us young people to pay for something that we don’t want or need. Instead of stuff like actually saving up for a house or getting married.

FUBO!

“Someday the young may figure out that this was a gigantic scam.”

Newsflash, we have. Thanks Boomers for selling us into slavery. At least Slavery ends when you die. Your debt does not.

Yep, at least $400 a month, and buying a car or home is only after that expense.

“a bill that says to someone, if you want to be creative and be a musician or whatever, you can leave your work, focus on your talent, your skill, your passion, your aspirations because you will have health care.”

I remember when that rich she-commissar said that; it summed up most of what was wrong with this country in general, and California in particular. It is no longer possible for these two conflicting ideologies (American independence/entrepreneurship and European socialism) to co-exist.

Homes and families are beyond the reach of young Americans, and will remain so until they euthanize the takers. The Dems will certainly be happy to eliminate the retirees; they took some of the MediCare $ and re-directed it to healthcare for illegal aliens.

" ... why you really think it will drive up costs for young people?"

Math.

Just like they eliminated a third of my generation?

“Just like they eliminated a third of my generation?”

I look at these Americans today from 15 to 25 years old, and view them as “The Last Generation”. Anyone I see younger than that isn’t American...
