Breaking news during tonight's edition of Piers Morgan Tonight: On the heels of Morgan's fiery interview with Alex Jones, the man who started the petition to deport the CNN host, the White House addressed the petition.
The official White House statement, via spokesman Jay Carney:
The White House responds to all petitions that cross the threshold and we will respond to this one. In the meantime, it is worth remembering that the freedom of expression is a bedrock principle in our democracy."
The petition to deport Morgan has gained more than 100,000 signatures, well over the 25,000 required to warrant an official White House response.
Piers Morgan is simply obnoxious. Impossible to listen to that show for more than five seconds.
So their response was, “We will respond”?
Well, so it the right to "keep and bear arms."
“A populace cannot rally against a bad government without free speech, and will fail without the right to bear arms to protect free speech.” - BuffaloJack
IIRC, Morgan has an outstanding British warrant for wiretapping law violations, which is why he came to the US in the first place. I’d have no problem turning him back over to the Brits.
“The White House responds to all petitions that cross the threshold and we will respond to this one”
Have they responded to any others? I don’t recall a single one.
As long as you aren't a member of the "terrorist" group known as the tea party patriots.
This administration is as dishonest as any other Stalinist liberals. Lie lie lie.
This was all about just giving him a shout out.
