PIERS Morgan managed to keep his calm in the face of an explosive rant during an interview for his TV show.
Morgan interviewed Alex Jones, the man who set up a petition to have the Brit deported from America over his views on gun control, for his CNN show.
But instead of giving an interview, the furious Jones shouted non-stop at Morgan for nearly 15 minutes - and even offered to FIGHT the former BGT judge in a boxing ring.
Morgan invited Jones to appear so they could debate the thorny issue of gun control in America in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre that saw children and adults shot to death at an elementary school.
Jones was filled with rage as he screamed at Morgan: "I'm here to tell you, 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms.
"It doesn't matter how many lemmings you get out there on the street begging for them to have their guns taken.
"We will not relinquish them."
In his fiery tirade, Jones went on to blame anti-depressant drug Prozac as a source of death in the world, labelling them "suicide mass murder pills."
He said: "I wanna blame the real culprit - suicide pills. Mass murder pills."
Despite Morgan's best efforts, he was barely able to get a word in edgeways with Jones not answering his questions about why people needed automatic weapons.
The end of the interview ended in bizarre fashion when Jones put on an English accent to mock Morgan.
He finished off saying: "It's to point out you're a foreigner, you're a redcoat here telling us what to do."
The petition to deport Morgan has now garnered over 100,000 signatures.

No he didn’t. Jones told the truth. Truth is something libs and trolls don’t like to hear.
No mention on if he was on them at any time prior to this incident and was just "off his meds".
Then again, the more I try and pin down "facts" in this tragedy, the more confusing things become.

I enjoyed it. I liked the passion, and his arguments were sound. If the liberals get weepy, who cares? This kind of rhetoric might wake them up. It has its place.

I agree and that’s exactly what Morgan wanted. He wanted Jones to fall into the trap and allow himself to look like a loon, and he did. Now, they can say...Hey, look at Jones, here is your typical kook fringe gun owner.
I don’t even LIKE him and I thought he gave Piers Morgan a pretty thorough reaming. He couldn’t have said it any more plainly...’You will not take our guns’. It is important for libs to hear that occasionally.
I didn’t see the whole thing, but I saw a clip of Jones ranting. It didn’t help our side at all.
This is why I think Jones should not have done this interview because it it will really do is increase the ratings for the PMT show.

He told some truth, but he mixed it in with his usual paranoid hysteria. That’s a good way to make people think the truth is paranoid hysteria!

Always thought Jones was a conspiracy creating, nut pushing the envelope for ratings. Well, at least this time he made me think again about him. Excellent takedown of the wimpy lib.
