Bought the book—”An Underground History of American Education” 10 years ago.....Gatto is the reason I studied curricula and John Dewey and the Prussian system= Great Thinker and good man-—although I think Gatto at the time of his book, that I read, didn’t think Dewey was intentionally trying to destroy the school system.
I think it was intentional because Dewey was a Fabian Socialist. Also, I just read “John Dewey and the Decline of American Education; How the Patron Saint of Schools has corrupted Teaching and Learning” by Henry T Edmondson III. It is well sourced, also. BK Eakman and Charlotte Iserbyt make a strong case for “intentional” also.

Thanks for your response.
I agree that the destruction was intentional, part of the treachery of Fabian Socialism and its heir Cultural Marxism.
I have read Iserbyt, but Eakman and Edmonson are new to me. Thanks for the references.
