Way to go, agree with the Dems that a center fire rifle is a "assault style" rifle.
Judging by the posts on their FB page, they have pissed off almost ever gun owner in CT.

The best response is to turn their business into a ghost town.

Sounds like doing business with Hoffmans Gun Center is an “unhealthy Choice”.

This policy change would have done nothing to stop the Newtown shooting. He already was declined when he tried to legally buy a gun the week before by the current system. He then decided to steal a law-abiding gun owner’s guns and commit mass murder.
This would not do anything.
I doubt it will stop any future shooting. Criminals do not go to legitimate shops and they wouldn’t have a valid pistol permit. Straw purchasers are always a problem but they are criminals by their actions.

Gee, I wonder how we can kill our business before Obamacare kicks in................ I know, lets make it harder to sell our products and go way beyond our competitors.

General Manager Dave Cavedon said, What were doing is, were just kind of upping the standard (so) that theres a double-check system out there. Because if you have a hunting license or a pistol permit to make that purchase, those both can be immediately revoked if youve made some unhealthy choices, so to (speak). The unhealthy choices would be buying from them.

Thats instead of the previous policy of selling a weapon like an AR-15 or Bushmaster .223 (used in the Newtown slayings) pending a two-week background check. These idiots already have a TWO-WEEK background check! Do they honestly think forcing people to have a "pistol permit" will really make a difference?

I don’t live there, so the chances of my ever buying anything from this establishment is nil. If I lived there, though, they wouldn’t see a dime of my money and I would tell others to avoid it.

I GUARANTEE the ‘journalist’ who wrote this doesn’t know the difference/ relationship/ between the term AR-15 and a Bushmaster .223
I bet he/she/it thinks AR stands for AUTOmatic rifle.
