Some of his recent tweets suggest his stance may be - he did what he had to do to win. After all, he as racing against a field of dopers and he only did what they did to level the playing field.

Not sure it’s going to fly with anyone though. He’d be missing the point that all doping in not created equal and maybe he just doped better then everyone else, not that he was really a better rider then everyone else.

He built his business model on being a clean rider.

He should ask Greg Lemond for forgiveness.

LA didn't just dope like everybody else. He conducted a mafia like reign of terror to enforce and cover it up. He was very nasty to many associates and screwed a few such as one mechanic who helped him a lot who he promised to help open a bike shop. Lance was enfant terrible

So in the beggining a few months back I supported him thinking he just doped like all the top finishers....But it was a lot more than this. But if-when he comes on Oprah he will probably say he just did what the rest where

  I think that's true. You could strip one athlete of his title and it would just go to another athlete who had used similar doping techniques.
