Barely two weeks into the new year and the Rats have been busy introducing gun-related legislation.

HR-34: To provide for the implementation of a system of licensing for purchasers of certain firearms and for a record of sale system for those firearms, and for other purposes.
HR-65: Child Gun Safety and Gun Access Prevention Act of 2013 (don't let the "For the children" title mislead you).
HR-117: To provide for the mandatory licensing and registration of handguns.
HR-137: To ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearm are listed in the national instant criminal background check system and require a background check for every firearm sale.
HR-138: To prohibit the transfer or possession of large capacity ammunition feeding devices, and for other purposes.
HR-141: To require criminal background checks on all firearms transactions occurring at gun shows.
HR-142: To require face to face purchases of ammunition, to require licensing of ammunition dealers, and to require reporting regarding bulk purchases of ammunition.

I plan to review new bills every day at the source link.
Most have been sent to the Judiciary committee where hopefully they will never see the light of day, much less get a vote - but as I remember reading somewhere, "There is no greater enemy of Liberty than a Congress in session".
Or somesuch...

No - they will try to keep us watching for "The Assault Weapons Ban of 2013" - which will never show up - while this other scum is doing the job out of the spotlight, bit-by-bit.
