A weasel worded response, IMHO. The way he has worded it, he could support full scale registration and banning any magazine of over 5 rounds.
He bears very careful watching.

He is for the constitution or against the constitution. Did he not take an oath of office to uphold the constitution.

As legislation related to Second Amendment rights is debatedThe money phrase.
The second amendment is not up for debate.

We must do everything we can - consistent with the Second Amendment - to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals, the mentally ill and those who would turn them against their community. IOW, "I support any gun control bill that we might possibly squeak by the Supreme Court, after I vote for a couple more Obama appointments."

Udall? Didn’t his dad have something to do with locking up a bunch of federal (OUR) land? Don’t think he can be counted on to support #2.
Stop radical left wing extremists!

Both Udall
and Bennet bear very careful watching.
I guess I'm lucky to have Cory Gardner as my Rep, but I'm sorry to say he should be watched carefully too.

Tell the Rat that the Supreme Court has already ruled on 'weapons of the battlefield' as he put it.
The signification attributed to the term Militia appears from the debates in the Convention, the history and legislation of Colonies and States, and the writings of approved commentators. These show plainly enough that the Militia comprised all males physically capable of acting in concert for the common defense. "A body of citizens enrolled for military discipline." And further, that ordinarily, when called for service these men were expected to appear bearing arms supplied by themselves and of the kind in common use at the time.
Supreme Court, United States v. Miller (1939)
The U.S. Government has already stated that the 2nd Amendment was written specifically for military style weapons. That was their argument in this case.

As soon as a politicians says, “responsible gun owner” and “hunting” in the same sentence, you know that he wants to ban all private firearms.

Ahhh? Yes. In Texas we could qualify several million in short order. The population of TX is about 21 million, If the state of Texas formed their own Militia. I bet they could have 5 million volunteers. (men & women)

Yep, "very careful watching" including getting his votes from roll call votes for any bills that make it out of committees to be voted on. Bills and links to roll call votes can be seen at thomas.loc.gov , as the information arrives (no bills, yet).
The Colorado Assembly as a site, too. Haven't had time to look and see if bills and votes are posted there, yet, but will.
