I think the any attempt to confiscate firearms will be the tipping point. People have put up with this two-bit dictator long enough. This will be the final straw, and there will be bloodshed.

They will slowly take things away one step at a time. First they take out the manufacturers of firearms and then bullets, then require registration and psychological reviews and then more restrictive reviews. When they have pared down the outstanding weapons and bullets to the almost nothing then they will begin to outlaw the most lethal weapons a little at a time until they get down to pellet guns.

They will just piecemeal a little at a time so they don't cause a revolt.
