I just got out of the shower and missed most of what he said about Agenda 21. They are implementing it in his township? I wonder how I can find out if it’s being implemented in my school district.

I left late and stopped on the way home so I just logged on. Missed most of the show so far.
Very tired...long night. Spent yesterday installling the new headlight assembly into oldest son’s car. Pulled my back straightening the metal fender of course. That made the overnight drag.
Have you ever seen the Honeybell oranges they sell on QVC? Mrs p6 has always wanted some but they are very expensive. This year QVC sold out early but I went to the Honeybell website and ordered hr a 16lb box,
They came yesterday. At first we were disappointed because they seemed smaller and didn’t look as pretty as the ones on tv.
Wow were we wrong! They are fantastic! Best oranges ever. I think she got 36 in her set. She gave 8 to our sons and has a few set aside for our daughter. She ate 2 and I ate 2....they are going fast!

IIRC the set I got her was $60+! That included delivery though but still way expensive. Won’t be able to splurge again for awhile, lol!
Just checked the online bank to see my first paycheck of the year. It went down about $47.00. Only half this paycheck is 2013 so I expect the next check will be down even more. Mr S worked overtime and his still went down. Looks like we’ll have to tighten our belts.
Can’t remember where I read or heard this, but somebody said the plan of the communist left is being accomplished - tax us to death, make us dependent then, when we are weakened, the last step is to take our guns and achieve total control over our lives.
I am beginning to have no doubt that that is the plan.
The communist in chief is doing all he can to see the plan through!
Mrs p6’s check goes through today or Monday, mine will probably be late in the week. We know we are taking a hit! That’s why we’ve spurged a bit now, getting a few things we’ve needed. When her brother is back from the farm they are going sofa shopping. That will probably be the last big purchase for awhile!
That’s why I got the oranges. Probably won’t be able to next year!
Also decided to keep both our vehicles, a ‘93 and a ‘98, no matter what. Cheaper than getting something else.

Everyone’s checks are smaller. I got my raise (which I am thankful for even it it begins w/a decimal point) and my check is smaller. I have two more weeks of Twp Occupational Tax (my boss’s wife does the books and its easier for her to do local tax in January and be done than do quarterly—and over deduct &over pay—happened in last). And then the Social Secrity deduction...am waiting to see how this applies to PaDad’s pay next week (15th). He works for a big company and they did NOT send around anything saying “this is how much less your pay will be.” We also had our health care premium to up (w/PaDad’s heart troubles/diabetes we take “top” plan). So I figure we will get hit pretty hard.
P6—I have had the QVC Honeyballs!!!! Excellent!!!! My daughter got them as a gift last year, too many for her & husband and she had morning sickness so she gave us a bunch—oh my were they good! Not nearly as good, but delish in their own way, have Yinz tried the “Cuties” ? The little orange/tangerine hybrid thingies...they are tiny....but sweet, no seeds. The really fresh ones are excellent. My 18 Year old and I were enjoying them after he came home for school break & we were both thinking these are like the QVC oranges (sorta).
Yeah. Those oranges sounded so tempting, but I didn’t even check it out after I saw my paycheck. I know it would go down, but not that much. And to think it will go down even more next paycheck! My sister’s husband was a butcher and still does some butchering as well as deer processing. They sent us a bunch of beef and pork that had piled up in their huge freezer. Thanks goodness, we are stocked up for awhile and of course we have the stuff we’ve put back already. We’ll be ok, foodwise. I’ll be concentrating on paying down bills this year.
