The Minutemen, the Continental Army, et al were most definitely hunting...the minions of the our oppressors.
On occasion the objects of the hunt were sort of sitting ducks, along with some turkeys and wild bucks, but mostly lobsterbacks and Hessian blues. Finest kind of family tradition.
