He won one playoff game, and it was his second season.

I rarely saw Tebow play and I can't comment on the oft-heard cliche "Mechanics" that everyone throws around now.

All I know is that most QB's in the league haven't even achieved what Tebow has achieved. The Bills, for example, have been through a string of dull, mediocre QB's over the last 10 years, who were all given 2-3 years to succeed or fail. Same for many other mediocre teams such as Cleveland, KC, Oakland, etc...

As such, without a doubt Tebow is being held to a much higher standard, I suspect because of the PR risk any GM has by giving Tebow a shot.

Tebow really hasn’t achieved that much. His career completion percentage is 47.9%, his career QB rating is 75.3, he’s got 17 TDs, 9 INTs, and 7 fumbles. He won a few games when playing on a team with a VERY good defense, but a number of those games he won with fewer than 10 completions.

And if you want to see his mechanics look him up on youtube. The tape is there and available, and his mechanical flaws are pretty obvious.

Tebow just finished his 3rd season, he HAS been given opportunity to succeed or fail.

Sorry but Tim’s being held to the same standards as everybody else. Probably the worst thing that happened to him was Denver trading up to get him in the 1st round. Every mock draft in the country had him as a 3rd round pick. Less is expected of 3rd rounders than 1st. In all truth he’s had a pretty typical 3rd rounder career. If it wasn’t for the cult that surrounds him and insists all bad things that happen to him are because of his faith he’d be just another anonymous 3rd rounder.
