Well, it was in the range of his priorities when it confronted him head on. Rather than let the lies in the form of flowery platitudes of diversity and inclusion stand he should have confronted them head on. Instead he retreats to the politically correct safety zone of 'priorities'.
The fact that Giglio was actually disinvited was made clear in a statement from Addie Whisenant of the Presidential Inaugural Committee:
We were not aware of Pastor Giglios past comments at the time of his selection, and they dont reflect our desire to celebrate the strength and diversity of our country at this inaugural. Pastor Giglio was asked to deliver the benediction in large part because of his leadership in combating human trafficking around the world. As we now work to select someone to deliver the benediction, we will ensure their beliefs reflect this administrations vision of inclusion and acceptance for all Americans.

It still is not clear to me what happened. Either he was "uninvited", by the Inaugural Committee sending a letter stating specifically that fact, or he wasn't really uninvited because they didn't send such a letter. It sounds to me right now as though he voluntarily relinquished his speaking opportunity because of something that someone who is not on the Inaugural Committee said. It just sounds as though he was too quick to resign instead of being actually uninvited, and then make a moral case out of that. This way he sounds like an apologetic feel-good preacher not wishing to offend.
Giglio, through the years, has done amazing things (in God's kingdom) & reached millions of people.
But we should never take any organization or leader for granted, or let down our defenses....the 'enemy' will always try to find a way in.
It could involve the 'leader's' ego.....or time issues....or priorities.....it could creep in slowly....but surely.
And then, the 'leader' is compromised.
I hope.....I truly do....Giglio will wake up and say...'What have I done'......'Why would I ever agree to 'bless' the Obama administration....'What was I thinking?'
But until that happens....if it happens....we need to be very wary of him.
Tim Wildmon has written similar thoughts on this, as well.
Suffice to say.....one does not bless the most murderous administration in history(Obama's pro death in agreement to the over 50 million dead babies)....
...one does not bless a leader who hates America is is hastening to bring her demise.
