As depth of betrayal sinks in, followers of Al Gore feel confused and misled

In the history of mankind there are countless instances of cult figures who have lead their followers to ruin and disillusionment. Names like Jim Jones, David Koresh, The Pied Piper, Bernie Madoff, Adolph Hitler, Charles Manson, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and a whole host of TV evangelists have done their damage.

It was easy for those outside and not sucked in by these hucksters to see the message they peddled defied logic, science and the laws of economics: Alchemy, master race, buy your way into heaven, getting something for nothing, all have that common thread.

...

Gore was making hundreds of millions from his “work” and many of the green movements/companies that get government funding, have Mr. Gore’s fingerprints on them somewhere.

But crushingly, Gores followers are starting to realize Mr. Gores feet are made of clay. He sold his failing "Current" cable-television station for about $500 million, which he personally gets 100 million, to the anti-American Al-Jazeera media company…which is owned by the fossil-fuel-rich royal family of Qatar.

Gore rushed to close the deal before the first of the year to avoid the very capital-gains tax hikes that he has advocated for others less well off.

In one fell swoop Mr. Gore has enhanced a fossil-fuel consortium, attempted to beat tax hikes he has advocated that others should pay and empowered an anti-American/anti-Semitic media conglomerate.

The blatant hypocrisy & betrayal to the cause has not been lost on his followers who have expressed shock and bewilderment that their titular leader of the “green movement” sold them out for 100 million pieces of silver.

How could they feel betrayed by Algore? Occidental Petroleum, Tobacco Farming, a huge non-green wasteful mansion. He made his fortune on dirty air.
Tried to jump a massage therapist’s bones, goes everywhere in an SUV or a private jet, took illegal campaign money from China. Who ever trusted him in the first place?
lol

His nutty wife even tried to ban rock and roll!

I know most of us are asking, how could they ever have fallen for that? 3 card monte. And ideology and wishful thinking over common sense.

I agree. Anyone who supported Al Gore was an idiot from the beginning.

A few more videos and additional cash from his buddies in those hidden away offices in the gov’t and all will be forgiven. Ideology trumps All, and those groups can be bought off easily.

This afternoon we were in the local Safeway buying stuff ~ and there we were in line behind a couple of medical types who I recognized to be Democrats.

First, we criticized Obamugabe. They winced. Then we expressed sympathy with Hillery who the folks at National Inquirer say has had her vision damaged by "the blood clot" ~ and whether that's her, or somebody else, it's something you don't want to have happen ~ watch out falls on concerete! You can bust a blood vessel behind your retina easier than you ever imagined ~ but a clot? Wow, that can leave you permanently and irreperably blind faster than snot.

They had quizzical looks on their faces with that, but they didn't say anything ~ which meant they were probably on sedatives, but then we got to the Algore. His betrayal of his acolytes of the weather goddess was pasted all over the outside of the usual magazines and tabloids at the cash register stand. We cackled hideously about how they were all suckers ~ and that's when the couple of Democrats ahead of us actually hung their heads in shame ~ the woman almost tipping over the 6 wine bottles she was purchasing.

The LEFT is despondent ~ if those two are good example ~ and it's time to strike!,

To the barricades ~ or whatever!

“Al Gore proved P. T. Barnum’s old adage is still operational:

“There’s a sucker born every minute.””

Yes, and there will be another P. T. Barnum arriving shortly to carry on the farce. The fools will follow along like blind mice.

“Thankfully, however, he did not carry Tennessee when he ran for POTUS.”

Remember, if Algore had won his home state he would have become President no matter the outcome in Florida.

They were used. They should just get over it. The same suckers are the ones who voted for Barack Obama, and then returned to their vomit to vote for him again.

Stupid is as stupid does.

I would feel sorry for them. But anyone who bought Gore’s BS is willfully blind to reality. They had it (disillusionment) coming.

Bernie Madoff ran a better racket (more believable) than Goron.

So the guy who took Tobacco Subsidies on his land and campaigned as a tobacco farmer when he ran for Senate and THEN gave a weepy speech when running for VP about the evil of tobacco and his sister's death from cancer turned out to be phony????

I am shocked.... shocked I tell you.

Al was born in a DC hospital and, for the most part, grew up in the DC area. He is many things, but he is not a Tennessean... no matter how much he may claim that he is.

He could have been president,,Florida was STOLEN from him. (Oh,,it might have also been helpful for him to have won his “home” state too)

Algore's followers are confused huh? They didn't notice that he had a fortune in Occidental Oil stock back when he started his enviro-wacko shtick? "I drank a lot of iced tea so I must have been peeing when they talked about fund raising" wasn't a clue? "No controlling legal authority" wasn't a flashing neon 'I'm a crook' sign to them?

You liberals excuse these criminals for decades when it suits your ends then squeal like stuck pigs when they betray you. Moral relativism has consequences.

My friend just told me about this. I do not believe Glenn Beck is a thing like Al Gore although I am a bit skeptical of this grand plan... But one man can change the world.. Why not Glenn?
