I have question, I heard from Rich Wyatt in a radio interview a few weeks back; "Why are there no followup when someone is denied a gun purchase because of the background check? At least a phone call? Maybe have the buyer come in for an interview? Nope. All that happens is the store owner tells the rejected party “NO”.
A follow up when Landa was denied a firearm purchase on the Monday prior to his killing spree could have saved 26 lives.
Of course follow ups would require no new laws and politicians would not have the opportunity to preen and rant in front of the “news” cameras.

You have a good point and at that point the person has signed documents under oath the they can legally purchase a firearm. Oh course I do know of some instances where there has been a false positive on the background check because of someone keying into the data base wrong information.
