Why is there ‘division’ in Congress? BECAUSE DEMOCRATS HAVE BECOME MARXISTS AGAINST OUR CONSTITUTION, THAT’S WHY!!!! Why don’t people understand this. It’s VERY obvious at this point, sheesh!!!!!!
Major Garrett actually asked a real question. Essentially where do you get off demanding an increase without compromising like you and other presidents have done in the past?

You’re totally right. The appropriate point for holding the line is not to approve the spending in the first place.
Instead our feckless GOP-led House approves the spending then does all kinds of grandstanding before approving increases to the debt limit.

I cannot believe I didn’t include “gun violence” in my list of words and phrases to look for in this speech. It was so obvious, I don’t know how I missed it. As soon as I heard it the first time, I slapped my forehead and tried to count how many more times it was used. I lost count.
