Jesse Jackson, Jr., resigned from Congress last month and Mrs. Jackson herself confirmed on Tuesday that she will not run to replace him.
Attention is now turning to 46-year old Jonathan Jackson, the third-born child of the famous Civil Rights leader. The New York Daily News first speculated last September that Jonathan might seek his brother's 2nd District seat. Sources tell Fox 32 News that Jonathan has discussed a possible campaign with local ministers and community leaders.
