I remember reading about it back then, too. The whole story didn't sit right then and it doesn't today. Alcohol, jealousy, arguments and ocean always leads to one thing. That said, as much time as she spent in the water for her movies and then to own a yacht, you'd think she'd have learned to swim. She also wasn't the brightest light in the harbor with those high heeled slip-on sandals. One big wave or drop of water would send anyone overboard.
