Man Runs Car Into Restaurant After Woman Criticizes His Political Views

A Wilmington man told police he intentionally ran a car into a restaurant Friday after a woman criticized his political views, according to Star News Online.

Police say at least one person was injured in the wreck that happened just before 11 p.m. Friday.

The man ran his dark green Honda Civic through the front of Katy's Great Eats in Wilmington before driving away from the scene.

Police later found the car and arrested Jacob Spivey, 26. Spivey told police he was trying to hurt a woman who criticized his political views.

The woman, in her 40s, was injured in the incident. She suffered several cuts and a few broken bones, but police say her injuries are not life-threatening.

Police charged Spivey with 11 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, felony hit and run, injury to real property and reckless operation of a vehicle.

He's being held in the New Hanover County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond.

Sounds like a young liberal who loses the debate with a woman reacts very much as an Islamist in Pakistan would when “dishonored” by the fairer sex. So if you’re prepared to debate a liberal, be prepared to kill them. Because if they lose they may respond with a weapon of mass destruction when your back is turned.
