If you are not, then I bet you would like reading his “Probability Broach” which is available on line at ‘bigheadpress.com’

My view are different, but he at least goes into some aspects of how we got to where we are, compared to where we might be.

and it should be noted that when Lincoln called for 75,000 men, Jeff Davis had previously called for 100,000.

Lincoln was hoping to avoid war. The slave power demanded one.
