Um I hate to say this is a waste of time but..

The Senate will not remove him so what’s the point? With the media on his side it would just make him more popular like with Clinton.

And say he is removed what do we win? President Biden? Yay. He’s Obama with less melanin, and sanity.

Incumbent President Gore would have won in 2000.

Impeach Biden first.

True, and probably would have been re-elected in 2004 because of 9/11 (even though I think he would have handled it much worse than Bush, people are reluctant to change Presidents in wartime).

We could have a GOP president now because the economic meltdown would have been blamed on the RATs instead of Bush, and fatigued in 2008 from "16 years of Democrat rule" ;-p

(Seriously though, you're right that an impeachment of Obama would go nowhere. It might be fun to introduce such a resolution in committee just to needle him though. And they'd need some really wacked out Kucinich type Dem to sign on as "cosponsor" so the GOP would be able to spin it as a "bipartisan")
