The basic political theory behind the single member district is that there will be pretty much just 2 parties, both competing for the winning number which is 50% plus 1 more voter!
The way that's achieved is through coalitions of similarly oriented voters ~ if not like-minded voters.
We only needed a couple of hundred thousand more voters in key states to win the Presidency ~ but the Mittbots forgot to campaign, and then, they forgot to get those voters registered and to the polls.
My goodness this is such a simple game ~ not at all like the NFL or NCAA basketball pairings ~ just two rules, build up a body of voters, get them out to vote.
There's nothing more to it and we managed to nominate a guy whose support team didn't know the most basic of rules.
Well, that and they believed the polls ~ polling doesn't work anymore BTW ~ so you have to redouble your efforts to get out your own voters to vote for you!
Did you know Romney was telling naive rich donors that he was after the 10% of undecided moderate voters in the middle ~ and this in a political system with NO CENTER AT ALL!
The last election is in the past. We are not going to change it. Every moment we focus on the past is a moment we are not focusing on the future.
We need to begin talking about what we are going to do, and then do it.
I know some things that I will not do. I will not register any of my weapons. I will not turn in any of my weapons.
I know that I will defend my home and family. This is a constant and based on principle. I really don't care if some thug criminal is illegally entering my home or if it is some Obama thug. The same principle applies, as I am defending my home and family. If it ever comes to that, there needs to be a price that thugs pay. They are completely out numbered if every gun owner sticks to their guns.
History has too many examples gun confiscation followed by millions of innocents being brutally murdered. I will not let that happen in my country and to my family. My soul is prepared, but I am not willing to die for my country by doing something stupid. I will figure out the smart things to do.

For those whose heads are not currently safely tucked deep inside their warm posteriors, I was never a Romney supporter. Just like JimRob (now, apparently a RINO), I had a choice on election day. That choice was to try to stop Obama.
Stop putting out crap about me that is not true. Enough people on the left have been doing that for years. If Romney was elected, I made it very clear in several posts that I was ready to get out in the streets and fight him when he was wrong.
When I was 16, I campaigned for Barry Goldwater door to door. I called talk radio at that age. My beliefs came from CONSCIENCE OF A CONSERVATIVE, WHY NOT VICTORY, NONE DARE CALL IT REASON, GOD AND MAN AT YALE, and MASTERS OF DECEIT. Stop mischaracterizing what I believe. Fight the real enemy.

The ‘real enemy’ Doug, is and always has been people willing to trade principle for victory.
All the big capitalized letters won’t change that. We see that in the Bible, we see that in the Constitution, we see it in the speeches and writings of Goldwater and Reagan.

This is a fantastic video explaining how we got to this point. It starts with an explanation of what communism is, goes through why communism is so bad, and then delves into some of the major players and groups (Gramsci, Alinsky, Fabian Socialists, etc etc.) and how they have had detailed plans that they have followed for 60 years now and have recently completed almost all their goals.
I urge Freepers to buy this video, watch it ( most of us know a lot of this, but it puts it all together very well) and then buy extras and get your friends with their head in the sand to watch it. To see exactly how they have plotted and planned for 50, 60, 70 years to demoralize America (literally promoting godless immorality), breaking down the family, ruining our economy, etc so that the “Progressives” can ride in to the rescue, meanwhile taking over every one of our instutitions (schools, universities, media, mainline churches , the judiciary, etc etc.) It really could be eye opening for a sheeple person who just doesn’t get what is happening to our country. If every person would buy 10 copies, and urge the people they send it to, to buy 10 and send them out, maybe in a short time we could have a significant number of people educated.
