Gingrich tells CBS This Morning thats a losing proposition. In the end, its a threat they cant sustain, he says, because no one wants to see the country default on its debts.
,p> Newt is wrong, partly. I hate to see our country default on its debts. But I now believe it is necessary and justified. It will force correction as bankruptcy is suppose to do. Bring this madness to an end swiftly so we can really begin the business of fixing it. A whole generation of American prosperity might be sacrificed (mine included). But we should do it for the kids.
No current banking instution on the planet would approve a loan application with financial data resembling the credit worthiness of the US Fed. Scale it down to the average Joe and run the debt to equity ratios and revolving debt along with the income Vs obligation numbers. You couldn't get approved for a Tic Tac line of credit with that history.

Had stopped thinking what you typed, and then took a good look at myself, and asked why did I change my mind. I came to understand it was because I was being greedy. Everything you typed is true and should happen to save this nation, if anyone in this nation gives a happy. My compliments, FRiend, Hammer to Nail.
