My legislation would prohibit the enforcement of any new federal restriction, prohibition or registration requirement for firearms, magazines, and ammunition. My legislation would also require the state to intercede on behalf of Pennsylvania citizens against any federal attempt to register, ban or restrict the purchase or ownership of firearms and firearms accessories which are currently legal products.

This is the most effective way to oppose further infringement on our 2nd Amendment rights. The states will have to act to prevent any further encroachment on our rights by anti-gun zealots.
We must not forget to support our outnumbered patriots in states like New York where their local officials don’t follow the Constitution.

I sent my representative Tom Marino a message to introduce this kind of Wyoming legislation last Friday. I guess he dropped the ball as Rep. Metcalfe beat him to it!Glad he did it.

Hi Red, I just hammered my state rep with this and reminded them that I had asked them to do the same thing last week. Got to go to my Elder Board meeting and will send this out to everyone I know when I get back. Thanks for posting this: we would never see it otherwise.

I wish I could say with confidence that Tom Corbett would sign this, but I don’t think he has the cojones.
Nevertheless, I’ll give my reps a call. It’s certainly worth a shot.
