If a doctor asked me that question, I wouldn’t answer and would never visit that doctor again.
“If a doctor asked me that question, I wouldnt answer and would never visit that doctor again.”
That question was on a form I completed at a new doctor I was going to about two years ago. I answered the question with another question: “Why the hell am I being asked this question to begin with? What does this have to do with my health care?” I’m sure it was duly submitted to the proper DHS intel gathering center.
My Dr. has gun and hunting magazines in his office.
Not a Time or Newsweek to be found in there for 5 years now
My doctor asks all the time, no problem. I tell him about the latest purchases, and tell him about my reloading, what hunting I’ve done..
Oh wait, that’s when we’re sitting at the bar drinking bourbon, and he’s telling me about his new ones too. .
In his office, he never asks.
And the Doc may very will put you down as a gun owner or "refused to answer" (same thing) on a federal medical database. Better to just say "no" (yes, lie) and never come back.
See how smart Obama is? He’s already got you mad at your doctor and your doctor probably packs.
In 41 years I have never had a VA doc ask me if I own a gun.
