A "life sentence" should be completed within 30 days. I'm being generous. Since the desired result of death and life sentences is the same, why not pick execution, abolish confined retirement life imprisonment, and call it good?

If I were going to go to prison for life I would want a guard to come by my cell and put a bullet in my head in the middle of the night.
