Some farming entrepreneurs should start growing it in the US and Canada. I suspect it is a short season crop so it could be grown anywhere canola (rape seed) or buckwheat is grown, and make much higher profits.

With such a profit margin, there’s no need to destroy South American rainforests - grow it here! If it likes cold mountainous regions, somewhere in the Rockies should work.
