“Hello all,

It’s been a while since I’ve been on here on a regular basis (a couple years, actually). I’ve gotten more involved with gun rights, as a whole, because it’s been easier for me to focus on a single issue due to life getting in the way. Anyway, I’ll be at the capitol on Saturday with at least a few guys from ARFCOM and CCDL. We’re actively encouraging any and all CT gun owners to come out and show your support for gun rights and to tell the state to back off of gun owners.

A friend and I are working on a, for lack of a better term, “manifesto” to bring ALL gun owners together, regardless of their chosen shooting discipline(s). We will be posting this document to various social media outlets (facebook, twitter, etc). When I have the link up, I’ll post it here.

Ladies and gents, we ALL have to stand together or we all will fall, CCW’ers, black rifle guys, skeet shooters, hunters. Even if you don’t particularly care for guns (which I don’t think is the case, judging from the few of you I’ve met in the past), come out. Support this cause. Remember that the 2nd Amendment protects all the others.

What a delightful turn-out!. The news media is citing the police, who are saying there were 1,000 people in Hartford. There were WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than than that!

Wish Race was around with his uncanny skill at estimating real crowd size!

Wasn't it wonderful! I am so proud of the people who turned out, especially the Oath Keepers, Vets and parents with kids and their dogs!

Having spent 33 years working in Hartford, it was the *first* time in my life, that I ever felt safe in that city.

Next time there is an *event* and I'm sure there will be more...we FReepers have to get a bit more organized...and meet in a central place, to meet and greet.
