Loathsome nanny-state mayor: I don’t ‘force anybody to do anything’

Behold the delusional vanity of the man who knows what’s best for eight million Americans (300 million, if God forbid, he could rise that far). Mayor Michael Bloomberg was asked if he remembers when he became an anti-gun crusader:

No, but I did get interested in public health a long time ago, as you know. And I think, as mayor, my responsibility is to do everything I can is to do everything I can to protect the health and safety and increase the longevity of the people that live in this city. As an American, and as a human being, I have a responsibility to not push, to not force anybody to do anything but to explain what I think and to educate people to the extent of what I believe that would be in their self-interest.

When he has used government power to restrict distribution of pain pills, ban Big Gulps, extract every trans-fat, and eliminate even outdoor smoking, he was merely explaining his point of view so convincingly that the entirety of his giant city was successfully converted at the point of a sword wonder of his intellect. One wonders how many people he’d convince without a police force.

As Bloomberg once said of this form of persuasion in a moment of greater candor: “We’re just forcing you to understand.”

“... As an American, and as a human being, I have a responsibility to not push, to not force anybody to do anything ...”

I take issue with that statement for a number of reasons. One, has anyone verified Bloomberg is actually human? I always suspected a rubberized face over an underlying robotic structure.

Two, he may believe he is not forcing anybody to do anything. But he IS forcing everybody to NOT do certain things, like, not be able to get pain meds from ERs and not be able to get biggee cups of soda, etc. Forcing one way or the other is still forcing.

The Mayor needs medical attention. He is obviously suffering from dementia.

green pastures~:”(from the article) “... As an American, and as a human being, I have a responsibility to not push, to not force anybody to do anything ...”

To order hospitals not to issue pain-killers to those in need is : IRRESPONSIBILITY !
This is the first imposition of Obamacare to cut expenses.
If he was in the same hospital , I can guarentee that he’d get pain-killers
“Elitist” hypocracy !~ what else would you expect comming from him ?

Bloomberg has made me a believer in reincarnation.
Any question among us believers of what body Adolf Hitler’s soul was re-born in, is now answered.

BTW, did the tyrant Mugabe die? Or is Obama the soul of some other tyrant? Chairman Mao lives again?

"to the extent of what I believe that would be in their self-interest." Did he mention his support of the 9/11 victory barracks? He's a traitor in my book. (SPIT!)

True. And no doubt I owe an apology to robots everywhere. I would say under his skin is actually the form of a slithering serpent, but I’d owe them apologies as well. He simply is not human, nor humane, and we’ll leave it at that.
