My fellow Freepers, I want you to take a look at the man who will be seeking the 1st Congressional Seat in South Carolina. His name is Curtis Bostic, a former Marine and now an attorney. He will be seeking the seat vacated by Tim Scott, who was appointed to fill the US Senate seat of Jim DeMint. This is a good man, and a solid conservative. This man used to be my neighbor 20 years ago before attending law school. This is a wide open race, and it includes former Congressman and Governor Mark Sanford, and Teddy Turner, son of media mogul Ted Turner. To get a look at him click open the Youtube link below:

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the character of this good man. I know him personally and feel he will do well as our next Congressman. The election to fill this seat is March 19.

I live in the 1rst Congressional District. And while at one time I held Mark Sanford in very high regard and had great respect for him, I am to this day disappointed in him for the poor judgement he exercised which lead to his downfall.

I remember being proud of him for taking a stand against the idea of accepting money from the Federal Government because of the strings that were attached to it. I cannot say that I can never forgive him for his indiscretions but I have to wonder if he might ever show such a lack of commitment to those he serves again.

I do want to hear what he has to say.

Mr. Bostick appears to be an honorable man and I especially like his emphasis on the importance of the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment.

I will follow this race closely and in the end I will vote for the candidate I feel has the best chance to make a difference in Washington. We need good people there now more than ever before.
