I must admit that most hollywood stars do not ever shock me when they run their mouths, but I was genuinely shocked at Jackie Chan. It’s very sad because now I will never watch him again and my list grows shorter and shorter by the day.
Sorry
I wish she would not use the British media euphemism of lumping tremendously different people from more than a dozen countries together as “Asian”.
The British media does this to intentionally confuse the public, because of all the “Asian” people in Britain, the vast majority are peaceful, productive and good citizens, and *only* the Pakistanis are pestiferous, composing 15% of the British prison population, and the vast majority on welfare.
In practical terms, Michelle Malkin’s parents are from the Philippines. Jackie Chan is Chinese. PSY is Korean. To lump them together as “Asian” is like calling Americans “British”, or “Europeans”.
Or calling Filipinos (in the Philippines) “Americans”. Of course, once they become American citizens, they become “Americans”, which means you can belong to a lot of ethnic groups, but which one is indeterminate.
Agreed 100%. I have a long list of anti-American companies that I will boycott forever (starting with GM, Chrysler, Bank of America, Citi, and others involved in the massive TARP/Bailout/Bankruptcy corruption of 2008/2009), and anti-American entertainers that I will boycott forever (including Hanoi Jane Fonda, and many others, leading up to PSY and Jackie Chan). It’s a shame that companies would rather compete in the crony-capitalist politics of connections than in the free market, and that “entertainers” think having had plastic surgery or acting lessons entitles them to attempt to harm my country.
I never could make it through 5 minutes of Jackie Chan, that is real idiot entertainment.
By the way here is the List
Well said, Michelle!
Didnt Michelle claim George Soros Spanish company really didnt count the election vote? [in some states] or should I take my tin foil hat off.
Yet here she is decrying Jackie Chan's comments about America being corrupt??
WHY!!!
1)He pretty much has to tow the party line because they’re communist thugs
2) The Kenyan-in-chief and the rest of the politburo have made the government one of the most corrupt in the world
3) I don’t really know for sure his intent put one can’t argue with the truth!!!
Have you ever heard the saying, “Silence is golden.”?
No one forced him to say those words. He volunteered them. Therein lies the difference.
Maybe you missed this part. I didn’t.:
“The Hong Kong-born Chan also admitted proudly that he is a propagandist for the Communist Chinese government.”
There is where I draw my line. Whatever else he said pales in comparison.
Does he ever plan on coming back here again?
Not all that surprising: Jackie Chan is actually Chinese royalty. A prince, actually.
“Asian” is the politically correct euphemism for “Oriental.”
Chan, and others, are speaking under duress ~
In an earlier time we would have understood this ~ today we condemn the victims.
I'd beware of OTHERS who instantly attack Chinese in this situation. We've earlier had a problem where the Dalai Lama was severely criticized for mouthing pro-Commie slogans. He's living abroad ~ and has close relatives inside the Chicom maw ~ and we wonder why he's doing that ~ some of us don't wonder at all.
This will happen soon inside America itself.
Then there are the CHICOMS and BIG CHINA ~ EVERYBODY knows what that means.
All those guys who get to work abroad are Chicom propagandists ~ they do not have the choice to NOT do that.
um... Americans and British ARE lumped together... under the label “white” just as all Chinese, Filipenos, and Koreans and many others are lumped together under the label “Asian” unless you prefer ... yellow?
I don’t see what your issue is here.
