West Point center cites dangers of ‘far right’ in U.S.

A West Point think tank has issued a paper warning America about “far right” groups such as the “anti-federalist” movement, which supports “civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government.”

The report issued this week by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is titled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.”

Having read this report, I had a difficult time discovering whether it had, in fact, been written by some Soros-funded NGO or UN auxiliary. It is about eighty percent sophistry designed, one supposes, to transmute leftist bigotry into science.

As an example of the cryptic twaddle, in the introduction we find the following jewel:

"The typology illustrates that extremists link their behavior with their underlying ideology and reinforce each other in the organizational frameworks of the American violent far right. From a theoretical perspective, this constitutes a further indication of the perception among some parts of the academic community that terrorism is an instrument of symbolic discourse which is shared by violent groups and their adversaries. Target selection is thus not based just on operational considerations, but is one component, among others, that allows extremist groups to shape their message using violent practices. Timing, weapons used, and target locations are only part of all possible components that shape the symbolic message conveyed by any specific attack. In this context, the policy implications are clear. If the different far right extremist groups are driven by different ideological sentiments, and are thus also engaged in distinguishable tactics, then the counterterrorism response must be tailored appropriately for the movement involved."

Perhaps someone more literate can translate this. I'm too dimwitted, and my skill at leftist gobbledygook and baby-talk is a little rusty.

"civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government."

Yeah, the very same nonsense in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution that West Point grads end up swearing to uphold and defend against all enemies foreign and domestic...

So these clowns think their own cadets are future "far right" terrorists??

FAIL

“...warning America about “far right” groups ......... which supports “civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government.”

Sure sounds like a threat to me.

Does West Point teach the Constitution, the law of the land established by the Founders that all cadets swear to protect and defend?

As one who has plenty of friends and associates from all the academies, let me assure you that the vast, vast vast majority of opinion within those institutions is that the Obamdork is a felon/cretin/muslim sympathasizer who runs a party that disdains the military.

That “think tank” is obviously on the marshmallow (e.g., math is NOT their friend) side of the aisle, and most probably only uses the West Point name because of location.

"Make them define “Right Wing.”"

They did.

"A West Point think tank has issued a paper warning America about “far right” groups such as the “anti-federalist” movement"

They go on to describe the "anti-federalist" as...

“espouse strong convictions regarding the federal government, believing it to be corrupt and tyrannical, with a natural tendency to intrude on individuals’ civil and constitutional rights. Finally, they support civil activism, individual freedoms, and self government. Extremists in the anti-federalist movement direct most their violence against the federal government and its proxies in law enforcement.”

I think all the Army fags were recruited into this “think tank”. That way, the subversive action could be coordinated against sane, common sense Americans. Just like Hollywood.

Your not dimwitted, the quote is a sample of the sort of pretentious psuedo-intellectualism leftists excrete and consume and is a true nonsense sentence. The surest proof of this is found with a logical/grammatical substitutional syllogism. The "this" in the sentence containing "...,this constitutes a further indication..." can only refer to the previous statement which begins with "The typology illustrates that extremists link their behavior..." Replacing "this" with the prior language produces:

*"From a theoretical perspective, the typology [which] illustrates that extremists link their behavior with their underlying ideology and reinforce each other in the organizational frameworks of the American violent far right constitutes a further indication of the perception among some parts of the academic community that terrorism is an instrument of symbolic discourse which is shared by violent groups and their adversaries."

So a typology employed by one group of people constitutes an indication of the perception among a different bunch of people that terrorism is an instrument of symbolic discourse among the first lot. This is claimed without regard for laws of causation or the appearance of telepathy.

"Note to West Point...Who pays your salary."

According to political speech from bipartisan parents whose children attend academies like West Point, it is they who pay the salaries and taxes for all. And remember that though their incomes come from government or government-connected sources, they are exclusively "fiscal conservatives" (though not really even that).

There can be no fiscal conservatism without moral conservatism, but there are consequences. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

How do these pinkos square their oath to the constituional Republic with this anti-American communist war propaganda nonsense?

How does West Point justify host an anti-American, anti-constitutional political communist studies division?

When the Islamic pinko is out of office, we must pursue these “military” treasonous pinkos who have snuck into West Point.

The left has taken over all our institutions of teaching, as shown here, including the military.

The right abandoned institutions of learning in the 1960’s, and conservative money went instead to think tanks. That served conservatives well in the short term. But now the failure of that policy is all too clear.

Generation after generation of Americans have been raised on a steady unchallenged diet of moral equivalency, hatred of capitalism, sexual perversion and promiscuity, and dependence.

I fear for what we have become.

It’s probably already too late. We should have pursued this crap when it first started.

Barry “thinks” of himself as another... better version of FDR. FDR served four terms. Do the logic math.
